Welsh Government (WG) Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Parent/Carer Consultation Event 16th July 2015

The Welsh Government has had a great response to recent surveys which you may have completed (www.asdinfowales.co.uk/survey). Some parents/carers are keen to tell them more about their experiences and WG are keen to listen. WG have therefore arranged a number of focus groups in Wales for parents/carers of children and adults with ASD, one of which is to be hosted in Powys.

The groups will cover 2 areas:
1) Experiences of diagnostic assessment
2) Access to service provision for individuals with an ASD

They are seeking to find out about peoples experiences and ideas about what would help.

The groups are limited to 20 places, so they ask that only one parent/carer/partner represent each individual who has been diagnosed with an ASD.
