Dementia Matters in Powys/PAVO Job Vacancy

Dementia Matters in Powys (DMiP) is a newly established organisation that has grown out of the grass roots initiative, Brecon Area Dementia Friendly Community.

DMiP is seeking to recruit the following in conjunction with PAVO, who will initially host the post:

South Powys Dementia Friendly Communities Development Officer

to establish networks and effective relationships across South Powys to facilitate the creation and development of Dementia Friendly Communities, working cooperatively with all relevant parties and organisations, sharing and spreading good practice and lessons learned across Powys and from other
communities within the UK.

This 35 hours per week post is funded by the BIG Lottery and is initially for a fixed term of one year.

Salary:- £24,717 per annum

Interviews will be held on 20th January 2017 in Llandrindod Wells
