Most of you will know someone who would be willing to knit a scarf to support Care & Repair; mums? Nans? Friends? Colleagues? Clients? Community groups? Schools? Could you set a challenge in your work place to be the first to complete scarf? Do you know someone who would like to support Care & Repair and organise a knitting event?
So here is the challenge to help get Care & Repair on the national fundraising radar. If each Care & Repair agency in Wales could find 5 knitters to knit a scarf, raise a £150 in sponsorship and post Care & Repair a `scarfie’ photo of someone looking great in their new scarf they will be on our way to success. All of the money raised (that’s 100%) will go into their hardship fund and help to ensure that when there is no finance available, there is somewhere for you to turn to keep older people warm, safe and comfortable. The first agency to raise £150 will receive a special reward!!!
