Learning Disabilities and Autism: A Research Conference for the General Public

You are invited to a free afternoon event which will showcase some of the variety of research taking place in learning disability and autism in north Wales.  The event is open to anyone with an interest in the research – parents, teachers support workers, other professionals and researchers.  The programme is interesting and varied and there’s likely to be something for everyone.

· Offer evidence based support to drinkers

· Be more confident in tackling this difficult topic

Carers & Their Rights Training - 13th May 2014

Powys Carers Service are excited to again host an event with Prof Luke Clements as he drafted some of the current Carers Rights Laws (Carers (Recognition and Services) Act 1995 and the Carers (Equal Opportunities) Act 2004).
Tuesday 13th May 2014 in Llandrindod Wells
The event’s content is not likely to be in a child-friendly format so they don’t think the event will be suitable for Young Carers aged under 16.
