Substance Misuse User Voice Focus Group

PAVO are holding 3 focus groups to help us explore all the ways that we can make sure service user and carer voice is listened to by the people who provide substance misuse services in Powys. The Area Planning Board is the multi-agency partnership that plans substance misuse strategy in Powys and is currently recruiting new citizen representatives. These will be people who have experience of substance misuse either themselves, or though caring for somebody who has. These representatives will help shape the future of substance misuse services and use their lived experience to help ensure services are person-led.

We are holding these focus groups early in the process to learn what the best way of ensuring that these representatives are best able to listen to and collect views from across the county.The sessions will be a short, informal discussion, with lunch provided.
