A lot has happened affecting the Health Service in Powys over the past year.
Powys teaching Health Board has opened two new renal dialysis units, has upgraded two theatres to allow more surgery to take place in the County and is about to open a new Health and Social Care facility with the Council in Builth Wells.
The Health Board has also been engaging and consulting with communities on a range of topics including hospital services across South Wales, stroke services in South Powys and services in North and West Wales.
Powys teaching Health Board will be holding its Annual General Meeting on Thursday 19 September in the International Pavillion at the Royal Welsh Showground, from 2-3.30pm. All members of the public are invited to attend the meeting to discuss the Health Service in Powys and to obtain a copy of the Health Board’s Annual Report.
