Carers Week Events in Powys June 12-16 2017

Monday 12th June – Parent Carer Pamper Day, Garden Suite, Metropole Hotel, Llandrindod. 10.30 – 3.30  This event is available to parent carers of children up to 19 years of age.  This event is free to attend

Tuesday 13th June - Planning for the Future - What can you do? Marlow, South Crescent, Llandrindod 11.00 – 1.00, Free advice on making wills, power of attorney, advance decisions for care or hospital treatment, what does ‘Do not Resuscitate’ really mean? Solicitors will be there to talk to anyone who would like to find out more.      This event is free to attend

Wednesday 14th June - Time for you in Carers Week at Marlow, South Crescent, Llandrindod. Relaxation and visualisation with Mandy Pearce.  The day starts at 10am with coffee and a chat and finishes at 4pm. Lunch will be provided.   This event is free to attend

Thursday 15th June - Trip to National Botanic Garden of Wales, Carmarthenshire. This trip is available to carers and the person they care for. A coach will pick up in Brecon at 9.30 at car park next to bus station and in Ystradgynlais at bus station at 10.15. Entry to the gardens is free for carers and £6 for others. The coach is free.

Saturday 17th June - Heulwen Trust Boat trip for the “Carers and cared for” on from 11.00 – 2.00. Leaving from Welshpool. Bring your own lunch and tea and coffee provided.   This event is free to attend
