Social Prescribing learning needs study- participants required.

Do you have a role as a community navigator, link worker or similar? Or do you send or receive a social prescription and deliver a community asset? Carolyn Wallace and David Pontin have been commissioned by Health Education and Improvement Wales to complete a study exploring the learning needs for those practicing social prescribing. If you have a role as a community link worker, community navigator (or similar), make or receive referrals for a social prescription then we need your perspective on the learning needs for social prescribing.

It will be an online study using three separate short exercises.

  • The first asks you to complete the following sentence:  to help me in my social prescribing role my learning needs are….
  • The second invites you to sort and label a collection of statements.
  • The third asks you to rate the statements against two scales - importance and availability.

The study takes place during December to February 2019. Please contact Carolyn Wallace if you are interested in taking part. Carolyn.wallace@southwales.ac.uk
