Free Fundraising Coaching Support for Charities




Registered charities based in Wales with two or more members of staff and with a voluntary income of up to £100,000 – excluding grant income -  are invited to apply for fundraising support as part of the Institute of Fundraising’s Fundraising Health Check and Executive Coaching Project.

Successful charities will be matched with an experienced coach who will help them develop a new fundraising strategy, helping to increase their fundraising skills and knowledge.

National Churches Trust - Foundation Grants for Maintenance

The Foundation Grant Programme offers grants of between £500 and £3,000 towards urgent maintenance works and small repairs in Churches identified as high priority.

Hospice UK - Breathe Easy

Grants of up to £40,000 are available to support projects running over a period of 18 months.

Ford Britain Trust

Small grants of up to £250 and large grants for amounts over £250 and up to a maximum of £3,000 are available.

Comic Relief Community Fund in Wales

Two new funding streams from the Comic Relief Community Fund in Wales to support community led organisations are now open for applications

This year’s award took place on Monday 15 July at The Senedd.

New Nest Eligibility Criteria



The New Nest Health Eligibility Criteria is now active, following a 2-year pilot scheme.

Several changes have been now made such as increased income thresholds, additional eligible health conditions and new self-referral routes. A resident could be now eligible for free home energy efficiency improvements. Including boilers, heating systems and insulation if:

·  They own or privately rent their home (not from a local authority or housing association)
·  Their home is energy inefficient and expensive to heat
·  They or someone they live with receives a means tested benefit OR has a chronic respiratory, circulatory or mental health condition and an income below the defined thresholds
