Carol Shillabeer has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer for Powys teaching Health Board.
Carol has been a key member of the Executive Team since 2009 in the role of Director of Nursing, and was also appointed to the position of Deputy Chief Executive in 2014. Carol's appointment is great news for the Health Board as it means that she can continue building on the work she has already started after becoming Interim Chief Executive last December.
Viv Harpwood, Chair of Powys teaching Health Board said "I am sure you will all join me in congratulating Carol on her appointment and I look forward to continuing to work with her to develop the organisation for the future."
