Aging Well in Wales, a project run by the Older People’s Commissioner for Wales, together with Alzheimer’s Society is holding an event to showcase the great examples of communities from Ceredigion, Gwynedd and Powys working together to become dementia friendly. It is hoped the event will inspire nearby towns and villages to join us in becoming a dementia friendly nation.
The event, to be held at Y Plas, Machynlleth from 12.30 – 16.30 on Thursday 6 October, is open to anyone with an interest in making a positive different to those living with dementia in their community and people from Aberystwyth, Dolgellau, Machynlleth and all surrounding villages are particularly welcome to attend this free event.
