Public Health Wales is currently recruiting for an Independent Board Member – Third Sector Member (Non-Executive Director)
Public Health Wales exists to protect and improve health and wellbeing and reduce health inequalities for people in Wales. Working across sectors, they are committed to continuously improving the quality, equity and effectiveness of the services they deliver and to supporting the wider NHS in Wales to improve outcomes for patients.
To achieve this, they work with third sector organisations across Wales and consider them essential partners in the achievement of our mission and vision.
They are therefore looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual – passionate about making Wales a healthier, happier and fairer place to live – to join our expanding organisation as an Independent Board Member. Applicants need to be an employee or member of a voluntary sector organisation with experience of such organisations in Wales.
As public health affects all communities and individuals they welcome applications from people from a wide variety of different and diverse backgrounds.
Details of how to apply can be found at www.iechydcyhoedduscymru.org/penodiadauaa /www.publichealthwales.org/imappointments.
The closing date for applications is 3 January 2017.
