Have you or a family member been diagnosed with sight loss? Would you like to meet others and learn more about what services may be helpful?
If so, come along to RNIB Cymru’s Living with Sight Loss Course in Brecon in April 2018.
Keira Brooks, the Confidence Building Coordinator from RNIB Cymru, will be delivering the four day information course. This will be a relaxed and informal few days for people who have been affected by sight loss or know someone who has been, to come and learn more about what support and services are available in the area.
Information will be provided on a number of areas including;
· Welfare rights
· Daily living
· Transport and mobility
· Assistive Technology
· Eye health
· Wellbeing
· Leisure, hobbies, interests
· Carers and family support
There will be speakers from national and local organisations providing information on their services and plenty of time to share experiences or just listen to others.
Tea and coffee will be provided and you are more than welcome to bring a family member or friend with you.
The course is free and booking is essential.
