Falls Prevention training

Course Aims: 
 Practical information to identify falls risks and those at risk of falling
  Understanding of where people can get support to reduce their risk of falling 
 Skills and techniques useful in starting conversations about falls 
Objectives: 
 Recognise widely that ‘falls are not an inevitable consequence of growing older’ and we can reduce the incidence of falls in Wales 
 Develop a primary falls prevention resource that lowers the risk of falling in the community 
 Make our resource, consistent and sustainable, by establishing a nationally co-ordinated network of local falls prevention champions
