Annual forums for registered social care managers are being held. They are an excellent opportunity for you to:
· hear about the latest developments in social care – qualifications, induction framework and values-based recruitment
· network and share information and ideas
· discuss current issues and feed into the development of future work, including practice guidance.
These are your forums – your opportunity to learn, keep up-to-date with new developments, share practice and connect with others. They can also contribute to your post-registration training and learning. They provide this opportunity to support you in your role as registered managers.
Last year, 325 registered managers attended the forums and these are comments from two of them:
“Brilliant day – well worth attending – current topics and excellent speakers”
“Excellent, creative discussions. Very positive views about how we can achieve a different type of training”
