Action on Elder Abuse Cymru is holding it's first annual conference on the 21st November in Cardiff, entitled 'Financially Safe and Secure? - Protecting older people from financial abuse'. The day will cover scams as well as financial crimes perpetrated by people known to the victim, which have such a devastating impact on the well-being of older people. Delegates will hear from a range of speakers examining the current practice in Wales aiming to combat financial abuse.
