Sight Loss Information Sessions for Professionals

RNIB are running free sight loss information mornings in Powys for professionals.

The sessions are aimed at professionals in Powys working in non-sight loss specific roles who would like to receive up to date information on local and national sight loss services with a view to increasing awareness of sight loss and strengthening links between services.

· Sighted guiding session

Practical aspects of sight loss
Laura Edwards - Rehabilitation Officer for Visual Impairment
· The role of the ROVI and the sensory team
· Support with mobility, communication and daily living

Sight loss and wellbeing
Ellen Ryan – RNIB Eye Care Liaison Officer

Summary of onward support & services
What local and national support is available and how to access
