Eisteddfod Meifod a'r Gororau 2015

Expressions of Interest are being sought from organisations to share space with PAVO at the National Eisteddfod taking place in Meifod, Powys from 1st to 8th August to raise the profile of the voluntary sector in Powys and help champion the sector.  We are particularly interested in organisations that will be able to arrange activities in order to attract people to our units.

This is a major festival that attracts up to 160,000 visitors per day.
Monday to Friday (3-7 Aug) will be themed days. The themes are: Volunteering; Trusteeship & Quality Assurance; Children & Play; Arts, Culture & Music; Health & Well-being.

The cost of securing space on the eisteddfod has been met equally by PAVO and WCVA. We will also make available a small number of free tickets to organisations sharing our space. There is no charge to member organisations. However, if your were able to make a contribution to 'Powys Pennies', a PAVO-managed community fund for Powys, that would be much appreciated.

If you are not a PAVO member, PAVO membership is free and open to all third sector organisations based in or operating in Powys. Please visit here for more information.

Welsh speaking staff or volunteers, would be helpful, however all are welcome.  All materials used and made available on the Maes, together with activities delivered must be in Welsh or bilingual.

Please click here to complete the online form to register an Expression of Interest. The deadline is 19 June. Clearly, it will not be possible to accommodate everyone during the week. However, we will make every effort to accommodate as many as possible.
