'Have your say' event Friday 11th December. Tell us what fairness means to you.
10.30 - 3.30pm at the Hotel Commodore, Spa Rd, Llandrindod Wells, Powys LD1 5ER
Refreshments and a buffet style lunch will be provided.
What's it all about: Powys County Council, Powys Teaching Health Board, Dyfed Powys Police, Mid and West Wales Fire & Rescue and the Welsh Ambulance Service is hosting the event to give you the chance to get involved in the equality plans of public sector organisations. The organisations need to know what fairness means to you and how they can help in making Powys fairer.
Every year the organisations publish their progress against their objectives set out in the Strategy Equality Plan and a flavour of what we have achieved will be sent out prior to the event. No previous knowledge of the Strategic Equality Plan will be assumed and there will be plenty of opportunity for discussion and questions.
Who's going: Public sector organisations and a range of community groups representing diversity. They'd particularly like to encourage any individuals from any of the 9 protected characteristics. Please forward this on to anyone who you think might be interested in expressing issues relating to equality - the events are open to all members of the public and representatives of voluntary sector organisations.
Please secure your place by Bets Ingram betsl@powys.gov.co.uk
