Grab the opportunity and gain the knowledge, we are offering a unique session to the Third Sector in Powys; Using the Social Services and Well Being (Wales) Act 2014 and the Future Generations Act (2015) to explore changes needed in service delivery across Powys
Outcomes for the day:
1) To increase staff’s knowledge and understanding of these two key Acts and the influence upon our work. We will explore the relationship between the law, impact, outcomes and practice.
2) To increase staff’s knowledge of the likely effect upon the citizens of Powys in terms of impact and how key Statutory and Third Sector Organisations should be operating and will need to operate in the future.
3) For staff to feel confident in challenging others when they observe/experience these Acts not being implemented correctly.
Who is this aimed at? All staff and managers involved in the delivery of services which have a direct effect upon the citizens of Powys, from carers to transport providers!
Cost: We are offering this session free of charge (places are limited) Lunch will not be provided please bring your own.
