PEOPLE'S PANEL
Its aim is to support and challenge The Shrewsbury and Telford
Hospital NHS Trust (SaTH), to help continually improve patient
experience – from the treatment patients receive to the
environment in which they are treated.
This is an exciting opportunity for the public to get involved
with their two acute hospitals, and help us to represent their
communities and improve the experience of our patients
on their journeys through them.
The patient representatives would work collaboratively with the
Trust, and their role would include being involved in the co-design
and production of quality improvement work streams, planning
changes to service delivery and environmental changes to the Trust
estate. Closure date for applications 12th August 2018

READER'S GROUP - How to Get Involved
As a member of our Readers Group you will be sent copies of patient information leaflets to
help the trust to ensure that they are clear and easy to understand before they are published.
Feedback from patients and the public is an integral part of the quality assessment process.
Members of the Readers Group will be sent on average 2–3 leaflets a month to read and
comment upon and are given 10 days to check through them and return their comments.
These comments are then taken into account when the final leaflets are produced.
