University Certificate Step Up to Management
Social Care Wales and the University of South Wales have worked together to develop a new ‘Step Up to Management’ programme. This course has been piloted and feedback from participants has been positive.
The course is aimed at staff in the following areas:
Adult residential care
Residential child care
Domiciliary care
Supported living
Day services
This course will become a pre-requisite for the new Level 5 leadership and management qualifications when the new suite of qualifications are rolled out.

Applications for this course need to be sent directly to Social Care Wales and not to Powys County Council. Applications need to be submitted via e-mail by 2nd November 2018 and sent to: stepup@socialcare.wales
