WCVA Update - 22 October 2018

This week's updates from WCVA

22 October 2018
Hello and welcome to this week's newsletter
Members can now book a spot at WCVA's Annual General Meeting, which will take place at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff Bay on 22 November. This year's theme is governance and leadership, which are extremely pertinent to the sector in these challenging times. The speakers for the day have been announced, including WCVA's President Michael Sheen who will deliver the Annual Lecture. Join us to explore how we can demonstrate the enormous value and contribution we make to society in order to secure the trust of the public.
In other news, we're delighted to announce that the second round of the Wales for Africa small grants scheme is now open! We had some amazing applications last year, and it feels great to be able to reach out and help diverse projects on the other side of the globe. There's £53,865 available to apply for so better get going on your applications - visit the website for more guidance.
Thanks for reading, we'll see you again next week.
