Care and Repair home based visiting service for older people, living in Powys, to assess and advise on safety and security in the home. Their aim is to increase independence and prevent falls and accidents in the home. Any agreed works would be carried out by their Practical Services team.

A Healthy Home Assessment includes • Falls, trips and slip prevention • Home safety • Fire safety check • House security • Energy efficiency/Warm home Agreed works could include • Handrails and grabrails • Steps and external rails • Smoke detectors • Security door chains

The Healthy Home Assessment is FREE of charge, some of the works can be grant funded.
