DWP 'Green Paper' Engagement Events

The government proposes to halve the disability employment gap, improve access to employment support, change work capability assessments and to join up discussions about work and health and how to better support employers.

Disability Wales would like to hear from people who have experienced the challenges of the current system such as being on benefits like ESA or going through work capability assessments. They would also like to hear the experiences people have had with employers and finding and staying in work.

They want to understand what works and what doesn’t so they can include this their consultation response to the Green Paper. Make your views known!

They are holding two events, one in Merthyr Tydfil on 31st January and one in Wrexham on 7th February.  For more information and to book follow the below link:
