The mapping survey is important particularly in relation to the changing eligibility criteria for Social Care. Expectations are being placed upon the sector to support people who will no longer be eligible for social care. In particular, the strategy refers to third sector befriending services, information services and advocacy services.
This will help to highlight any additional resources or help your organisation and/or service will need in order to provide the sustainable, safe and reliable support that is needed.
