Most people will be touched by dementia at some time during their lives, so working together to challenge the myths and stigma that still surround this condition is important.
For help & support with dementia-related issues, or learn more about dementia & the small things that can be done to make a big difference to those living with dementia in the community, go along to any the following:

Wednesday 20th 11am-3pm: Drop-in for information & advice, Bronllys Day Hospital
4.30-5.15pm: Brecon & Hay Dementia Supportive Community AGM, Brecon Guildhall
Thursday 21st 1.30-2.30pm: Dementia Friends Awareness Session, The Muse
7-8pm: Dementia Friends Awareness Session, Llanfrynach Community Hall
Friday 22nd 3-4pm: Dementia Friends Awareness Session, The Muse
Saturday 23rd 11am-12 noon: Dementia Friends Awareness Session, Brecon Library
7pm: Celebration Concert, Brecon Guildhall. Marking Brecon as the first community in Wales to be officially recognised by the Alzheimer’s Society for its work towards becoming dementia-friendly.
