Gilfach Goch may be a small village in the Rhondda, but with help from Active Inclusion and the backing of European Social Funds, the Gilfach Goch Community Association are providing a bustling hub for their community.
One of the many benefits of volunteering is that it is great activity through which to learn and develop personal and professional skills, such as confidence, the ability to work as a team, or how to deal with challenging situations.
This survey is a contribution to a piece of work commissioned by Welsh Government to look at how to help and encourage more people to be involved in contributing to society on an unpaid, voluntary basis.
