Social Care Wales are leading a
national attraction, recruitment and retention campaign for social care and
early years. The campaign is wider than just home care services but it
does include this important role. Their key focus for the campaign
is to raise the awareness and perception of the sectors with the public and
this is something that won’t happen overnight. They are looking in the first
iteration for a 3-4 year campaign.
It will launch on the 5th March
and Social Care Wales would welcome thoughts from organisations that work within
this sector on how you’d like to connect with it.
Alongside the adverts they are
developing a campaign website (wecare.wales) which will hold information about
the roles in the sector and also employers, as a searchable resource.
Any organisation that employs staff
in a social care or early years capacity can be added to the site by completing
