WCVA Newsletter - 4th Feb '19

This week's updates from WCVA

4 February 2019

Hello, and welcome to the WCVA newsletter!

Safeguarding is a vital part of any organisation's governance framework. It encapsulates health, safety, staff recruitment, quality assurance, funding and more. Good and appropriate safeguarding provides public reassurance about your organisation and contributes to the positive reputation of the third sector in general. WCVA's Safeguarding service provides free advice, information, training and resources for third sector organisations in Wales - find out more on the website.

The third sector is always striving to connect with new audiences so that we can include them in our conversations. Our new comprehensive modular course entitled 'Public Engagement: Theory and Practise' is aimed at providing a greater awareness and understanding of participative engagement. You'll gain a range of skills as well as build your confidence in engaging with citizens and the community. The course comprises four stand-alone modules spread over two days. You can attend all four, or simply those that interest you the most!

Thanks for reading, we'll see you again next week!
